Leadership Development

Aligned Action for Results (AAR)

NGCG helps clients apply the Aligned Action for Results (AAR) model to effect change in the health issues facing their communities. AAR effectively addresses complex social challenges because it builds four leadership competencies necessary to working collaboratively to making aligned contributions that improve sustainable results:

Results Accountability Competency—the ability to use a disciplined 7-step process for taking immediate action that contributes to measurable improvement, relying primarily on low-cost or no-cost options.

Race, Class, and Culture Competency—the ability to engage in constructive dialogue about race, class and culture that enables leaders to address issues of disparities.

Collaborative Leadership Competency—the ability to make decisions together and take action together in service of a result.

Leading from the Middle Competency—the ability to enroll those to whom you are accountable and to those whom you hold accountable, in implementing strategies

Self-Assessment

Developing highly capable and effective leaders at all levels of your organization is critical to meeting the needs of the communities you serve.
The MBTI (Myers-Briggs Temperament Indicator), the most trusted personality tool available today, is a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure individual psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. This tool provides valuable insights and strategies on how to get the best from those you lead and manage.
NGCG assists organizations as they use the MBTI for the following purposes:

  • To improve individual and team performance
  • To develop leadership at every level of the organization
  • To reduce and eliminate workplace conflict (conflict resolution)
  • To nurture and retain top talent
  • To create the most effective patterns of professional practice
